Smart Motorsport has a large amount of experience rebuilding all Smart engines right across the range, from the early 599cc to the latest models and performance Brabus upgrades.

We recognise common failures and faults, and offer customers a cost effective solution as well as fully comprehensive engine rebuilding and performance upgrades.

All Smart Motorsport rebuilt engines are covered by a 1 year / 12,000 mile warranty.

All prices include engine removal, cleaning and inspecting, rebuilding, refitting, oil, coolant and road testing.

The engine components replaced during the basic build include:

New Con Rod Bearings (Big Ends) New Piston Ring Kit New Exhaust Valves New Valve Stem Seals Head Bolts Con Rod Bolts All Seals Within Engine Block Cylinder Head Gasket Spark Plugs   In addition to these components we commonly replace: Oil Pump Assembly New Intake Valves Cam Chain + Tensioner Kit Cam Chain Oil Sprayer Thermostat Turbo Intake Pipes Crankshaft Main Bearings Exhaust Manifold Gasket Exhaust Studs / Nuts Exhaust Manifold Gasket HT Leads

 

We offer customers reconditioned engines.
Recon engines are supplied on an exchange basis with a £300 surcharge if exchange unit has physical block or cylinder head damage.
